NIPR Receives NALTF's Award



The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has been recognised for its contributions to the advancement of knowledge, research and information through donation of books to the National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF).

The award was presented to the Institute on Thursday at a gala night in celebration of the country's 66th Independence Anniversary in Abuja, organised by the NALTF.

According to Fund, the honour is in recognition of NIPR's invaluable partnership, generous donation and commitment to the advancement of NALTF Resource Centre.

Receiving the award, the President, Chairman of Council of NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku who was visibly surprised by the recognition, noted that the donations are part of the Institute's corporate social responsibility aimed at deepening knowledge and preserving history. 

"We consider NALTF as one of the most strategic institutions in the country in advancing advancing knowledge. We are not just partners but ambassadors of this organisation. I want to congratulate Hon. Henry Nwawuba who has been phenomenal in the way he has managed NALTF since the beginning of his tenure as as the Pioneer Executive Secretary", he stated. 

The President also used to opportunity to invite Hon. Nwawuba to utilise the opportunity of World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), expected to have delegates from 126 countries to showcase many initiatives he has brought on board in making the NALTF a strategic legislative institution to the world. 

A veteran broadcaster, Andy Gabriel took to the stage to pay tribute to the leadership of NIPR under Dr. Neliaku for raising the Institute's profile through his transformative initiatives he has championed since the inception of his presidency in August, 2023.
